Please be informed that G-Pack will be on HOLIDAYS from 9/8 until 31/8/2021.
During this period there will be NO possibility of production, invoicing or deliveries.

We are pleased to inform you that the volume of your orders, for one more year, has exceeded us!

Of course, we are already worried about whether we will be able to meet all your requirements, because we have so little time.

With our latest calculations, we can guarantee the delivery before 9/8 for all ORDERS that will have been registered until FRIDAY 9/7.

Orders that will be placed after 16/7, will be delivered in September!

For the week 12-16/7 we can ONLY promise that we will do the best we can, without being sure that we will be able to deliver before September.

Please have your orders planned as soon as possible.


UPDATE FOR SINGLE USE PLASTICS

As you may know, since 1/7/2021 the Single Use Plastics Directive (SUPD) of the European Commission has been implemented. With regard to wet wipes, mandatory marking is provided for products (towels) that contain plastic in their composition. The marking is provided in specific dimensions and colors, as shown in the attached image.

In this phase, towels certified from 100% plant material (viscose, rayon, bamboo, cotton, lyocell, etc.) are exempt from the obligation to mark. It is estimated that by 2027 studies will have been completed on the possibility of using other materials, with a low burden on the environment, so that they can be excluded from the marking.

We at G-Pack are very PROUD that we already use from 2018 materials such as cotton and later bamboo, to contribute, as much as we and our partners, to sustainable development. Until now, these were used in parallel with the “traditional” materials (with plastic), as their price is higher, depending on the will of the customer.

At the moment we have decided at G-Pack to use EXCLUSIVELY the NEW materials, without plastic, in order to additionally avoid the labeling of our products in which the “old” materials are used, which would significantly burden our customers and partners. , mainly financially, but it might also tarnish their image or even lead them to other solutions.

Already from the middle of June we use 100% bamboo and viscose, marked on the (new) products “Refreshing Wipe 100% PLASTIC FREE”.
For products that have already been produced with the old materials, the marking will be placed on the box with a sticker, as the directive allows until 30/6/2022.


In case you were wondering, it is obvious that the new materials have a significantly higher price than the old ones. This means that we need to increase our prices accordingly.

The GOOD NEWS is that this will NOT happen before our holidays in August (we will be closed 9-31/8/21). We have secured at the “normal” (old) price some quantities of the new materials, which we estimate will cover our needs until August.

We estimate that by the end of July we will be able to announce our new PRICE LIST, as well as its VALID DATE.
